A powerful symbol of meaningful exchange

In 2023, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students and faculty from Humboldt University of Berlin to Bafia. This visit was an enriching experience for everyone involved – both professionally and personally.

The students took the opportunity to gain insights into practical healthcare work, rural development, and everyday life in Cameroon. At the same time, they connected with our team, local professionals, and the surrounding community. The exchange was mutual – open, curious, and deeply rewarding.

Encounters like these highlight just how valuable personal connections can be in an international context – far beyond academic content alone.

We hope this visit was just the beginning, and that many more young people – from Germany and around the world – will follow and experience what we have to offer.
